About the Artists

"I am the Landscape Painter that always wanted to be a Commercial Artist!"

Self-portrait oil painting of Mitchell Fenton with marmots in the mountains

This self-portrait titled "After Whistler" was the first original painting my wife, Karen, and I turned into a poster. It was to promote my show of paintings from the Lake O'Hara area.

We have many Lake O'Hara postcards now available there in support of the ongoing trail maintenance. These postcards caught the eye of Parks Canada and I was commissioned to do a series celebrating Canada's 150th.

With the help of my wife, these Canadian Specific posters and postcards made from my original paintings have now turned into a collection - here I am on Shopify!

Enjoy the collection! You can see my original work on my webpage mitchellfenton.com.
