Lake Oesa - painted here in 2010 - is a favourite destination in the O'Hara area. From the lake, a trail leads up to Abbot Pass first switching back and forth up a rocky wall and then a scramble up the scree. Sadly, the Swiss Guide-built Abbot Pass Hut no longer stands at the top of the pass. Warming temperatures eroded the base on which it sat.
